MATERIAL + MYTH

Hello! I'm Jennifer Cuaro, a cross-disciplinary artist and ceramicist with a background in materials science, working in the San Francisco Bay Area. My work explores structure, texture, and transformation stemming from a curiosity about material properties and an appreciation of my culture. I mostly work with clay and botanically printed and dyed fibers, often using wild and foraged materials. Outside of my own art practice, I am a ceramics instructor at a few East Bay clay studios.

As an instructor, I hope to foster an inclusive, engaged, and supportive learning environment. I encourage exploration and process-based learning, helping students build strong foundational skills. ​​
